ok. I have two socials today, 2 hours each. I'm going to have to take paracetamol or ibuprofen. But definitely gone fasting since yesterday, finish off tomorrow by supper.
HOw does this help. It's a spiritual experience--fasting. This helps with the physical and mental. So it's a holistic thing. I do this often. It helps it subtle ways. At times you won't see it on the outside, but momentum is building up on the inside.
That's why i like about this then. Trump's going to question things like these, but its what i think is best. This has been my guiding principle. If it doesnt work out, at least i have to myself that i gave it my best shot.
HOw does this work for you. I'm not sure how to quantify this. More often than not, things turned out against expectations. But then again, it's all connected. It's all positive in a way. Unless i am not in awareness, then it goes on what is with the illusion status quo.
But that's just me. If i get a bite on there, i post back. If not, then so be it. I have other things in mind. I do two socials today. That's a lot. I've done way much more on saturdays back when we had comps. I can work this out.
The second one i'll go easy. Or go slow burn on both. I have jump ropes. I am retraining the body to move on the balls of my foot instead of heel to toe. That takes a split second more whereas the former can spring into action--literally.
I learned this when i got injured. I realized i had weak structures around that area. That the best way to make that not happen anymore is to strengthen it. What better way to do so in through jump ropes. So i got myself one and have been doing this for about a month now.
HAs it made me move faster? I'm not sure how you can measure that. What i do know is that it's great working out in this way. When i do walls i have jump ropes alternating with the tennis.
I get a much deeper workout. The pace is rather slow and easy but i can feel the fat burn because i sweat and am in a good training heart rate. That's the point here. Also it's about more than an hour of training.
So i do this when i'm not playing on the court. The rest day is on that day i can't play on the court and do wall practice. That's when i get full rest and take things easy. I try not to think of tennis on rest days, but how do you do that.
I can walk around to help ease things into circulation. But when possible, i take naps. That's when the body resets itself. I dont have any bites on there. We'll go with what they get then. Just do this.
